Internships in the Valley will be back at Wageningen University this fall! Join us on Wednesday, 2nd October at the Wageningen University Forum building (Room TBD). We’re preparing to recruit top candidates in biotech, food sciences, and agtech for internship positions with a few of our partner companies.
On the Agenda
During this event the Program Manager for Internships in the Valley is present in person and the Program Manager for The Netherlands America-Foundation will be present online.
You'll learn more about interning in the U.S., like searching for a position, learning how to acquire a visa, and how you may finance your stay. Details about application and eligibility requirements will also be covered. There will be room for questions at the end.
Please note that this event is exclusively for Wageningen University students, organized in collaboration with WUR Career Services.
Speakers

About the Programs
Internships in the Valley
The Internships in the Valley program is tailored for master's students, PhD candidates, and recent graduates from Dutch universities who are interested in doing a (paid) internship in the U.S. They offer support with the internship search, visa application, pre-departure preparation, and mentorship by an industry professional.

The Netherland-America Foundation
The Netherland-America Foundation seeks to further strengthen the bonds between our two countries through exchange in the arts, sciences, education, business, and public affairs. As part of this mission, the NAF provides funding to high-achieving Dutch students from low-income backgrounds to pursue an internship in the U.S. through the Dutch2USA Internship Grant, as well as a number of other internship grants. The NAF also works closely with Internships in the Valley to help interns secure their J-1 visa to legally work in the U.S.
